Choo Kee Siong

Mr. Choo has more than 25 years of banking experience primarily in the mid-cap corporate space. Prior to Hildrics Capital, he was the Managing Director and Head of Industry Groups, Group Commercial Banking of United Overseas Bank (“UOB”), where he was responsible for UOB’s portfolio of mid-cap companies in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia for a period of 13 years. He was also appointed as UOB representative for InnoVen, a JV between UOB and Temasek that focuses on providing venture debt to start-ups and fast-growing companies across India, China and Southeast Asia since its inception in 2015. He was also involved in UOB’s engagement with the start-up client segment, primarily driving the venture debt business as well as developing relationships with various partners such as Finlab, OurCrowd as well as major venture capital firms in the ecosystem. Mr. Choo was conferred the title of IBF Fellow by the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore in November 2014.

Wee Teng Chuen

Mr. Wee has more than 8 years of banking and financial services experience. He is currently the Managing Director and Head of Capital Raising of 32RE, and leads the fundraising efforts of 32RE, notably in 32RE’s joint venture with Weave Living as well as other products and initiatives. He plays an instrumental role in 32RE’s investor relations to drive dialogue with potential investors and partners as well as originate off-market opportunities and strategic collaborations. Prior to 32RE, he was the First Vice President at UOB’s Corporate Banking unit, and has worked on financing transactions for commercial, hospitality, retail and residential clients across Southeast Asia, China, Australia and the United Kingdom. Mr. Wee is also the Co-Founder and Director of Love of Laundry since 2011.

Daniel Poh

Mr. Poh has more than 8 years of private equity experience primarily focusing on providing growth capital and pre-IPO financing and is an Independent Director of an SGX-listed company. Prior to Hildrics Capital, he was an Investment Partner of SEAVI Advent Private Equity, the Asian affiliate of Advent International. He was responsible for deal origination, deal execution, and implementation of exit strategy for private equity transactions. He has led and advised on more than 10 investment transactions across South-East Asia and Greater China, including delivery of SEAVI Advent’s highest ROI deal of more than 4x MOIC in the last fund; Mr. Poh’s sector experience include industrial, healthcare, environment, consumer, and TMT.

Tang Seng Gen

Seng Gen is an Associate with Hildrics Capital. Prior to joining Hildrics Capital, Seng Gen was with Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) New Ventures focusing on early-stage investments in emerging technologies and corporate ventures. Seng Gen was also previously with Emerald Hill Advisors, where he advised on private investments and provided corporate advisory services including business transformation, capital optimization, and strategic mergers & acquisitions.

Seng Gen holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University.

Penny Leong

Ms. Penny Leong is the Finance & HR manager responsible for accounting, compliance, and Human Resource functions for Hildrics Capital. Previously, Penny worked in the private sector as an accountant for 10 years. She holds a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy from RMIT University and is a member of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Australia.
